Nike Chance was built for football-obsessed teenagers. A global search for undiscovered talent.
As the lead creative team, we rebuilt the recruitment model. No easy Facebook invites. Players had to earn attention.
They completed challenges and fought to get noticed by Nike scouts. The twist? They never knew if or when a scout would appear. They simply had to perform 24/7.
Scouts, including Pep Guardiola, Arsène Wenger, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, helped select the final squad.
Players were tracked online through weekly updates, training footage and fan voting across the Nike Chance platform and Facebook.
The scale was huge.
Over 100,000 players from 55 countries entered the competition.
From that pool, 100 players reached the global finals, with 16 finalists travelling the world to train and compete at elite academies.
The best players earned places at the Nike Academy, training alongside professional clubs and Premier League reserve teams.
